Hi,
I am an American and I want to spend a year or more in France teaching English as a foreign language to students. I speak French well enough that I shouldn't have too much of a problem getting around but this would be a great way to become fluent, if possible.
I know I need to apply for a visa, find a program, and find a place to live. What are the best first steps to take in order to do this? How quickly can it be done? I have only traveled internationally once few years ago.
