My friend and I are planning to travel the Great Ocean Road, along the south-eastern coast of Australia, in a campervan and would like to know where the best and most interesting places are to stop along this route? We would like to know about things to see and do, restaurants and any caravan parks that we could use. Thanks!

All of the towns along the GOR has a caravan park so you could stop anywhere you so desire.
I would suggest that if your campervan is larger than a HiAce you will be better off to travel the road in a westerly direction as all of the lookouts are on the seaward side of the road.
If you are going in the coming summer holidays you may find the caravan parks are full. Maybe in that case ring ahead.
Don't forget to make some side trips such as to Erskine Falls.
