In the capital children are encouraged to bang tin cans and make plenty of noise, finishing off by consuming roasted chestnuts.

What to pack for a holiday in Tenerife in November

If you have come to Tenerife in November for the beach, that’s what you’ll get … pack your swimsuit, sun-hat, shades and flip-flops. When away from the beach or pool shorts and t-shirts will be sufficient, but in the evening you will need a jumper and long trousers or tights under your party top. In the wetter north take along a raincoat, and for a trip up the mountains ski pants, jacket and warm boots are a necessity.
